Thats a smart water valve been comtrolled by alexa
its not that convenient since you have to speak to alexa for it. its probably less effort with a button, or actually turning the tap off since youll have to be at the tap anyway to put the cup under.
if you really want to minimise energy used then placing a filtered jug with a button like a waterdrop jug next to the place you sit in the most is probably more time and energy conserving
That’s definitely not a cup of water
