Personally, I have been using random Tuya products (lights, plugs, switches) for a year with home assistant (Local Tuya integration) and found them to be reliable so far, so I continue to buy them. (maybe just lucky)
The most difficult part is the set-up, and the occasional (intentional) router/device reset which causes the IP device mapping with home assistant to be jumbled up as my router doesn’t support DHCP reservation
Sonoff must have neutral wire…
does matter over wifi add to the wifi load? planning for my next wifi and thought off moving everything to zigbee as my current smart home seems to be overcrowding my wifi

SONOFF is a lousy brand as i last time wanna try cheap smart home product bought a few ZBMicro Zigbee Micro USB used 6 months mostly all die nowadays i just use tapo p110 then use a usb charger on it is more bigger in size but it is more durable
