The problems with all of these stations, to small output, to little input, and to small battery! First thing everyone does is add runtime, ie, hack with other batteries thru the solar inputs, and some how think its added capacity, not, then the input is to low, so adding runtime, it cant charge those added batteries, unless its a factory add on battery, and then its to expensive and to slow, because its designed for the small battery! If you utilize the solar input for added runtime, now your solar production is useless! They cant passthru charge, ie charge from the wall while out putting power, Then theres that dreaded, idle consumption, which those machines dont show, on screan, even what would be considered low, of 40w, x 24hrs = 960wh in a day, from a factory, 1-2kw battery, thats rediculous! Will it run a refrigerator, yes, just not a great scenario for it! My unit, low frequency ( transformer based) 3000w output, 2 -150v mppts, 2000w, 2- ac chargers, 1500w and 20amp car charging, 240w, thats 3740w input, and can charge and discharge from all ports at the same time, 2 kw battery increment additions from factory, but it also has external battery exspansion port, and you can use any battery from any manufacturer, and no proprietary plugs anywhere, and its infinately exspandable! Of coarse it shows idle consumption on screen, a meer 13w, thats just 312w per day, huge difference! 5 -13.8v DC barrel plugs 20amp, 6 AC 120v plugs, on 2 15amp circuits, and a TT30 plug! Theres a world of difference between, bullshit, and real shit, and this is a 6yr old power station, that still outperforms this bullshit today! I have 10kwh on my unit now, and I own 2 of these units, and nothing ways more than 32lbs, so yes its portable, and I can make it as big, or small as needed! If a battery fails, its still fully functional, if the inverter were to ever fail, the batteries can run with any inverter, not just useless! Can you get one now, nope, seems people want cheap, not quality!

So I have a 1 acre Pond that I want to keep open through the winter which portable power station would you say is the best for outside in the winter I will have to buy 2 of them so when one goes dead I can plug the other one in and then bring the Dead one back home to charge
